The Dragon Programme is a cooperation between ESA and the Ministry of
Science and Technology (MOST) of the P.R. China.
The 1st Dragon
Programme commenced in 2004 and was completed in April 2008. The 2nd
Dragon Programme will last for four years and formally commenced at the
2008 Beijing Symposium. Dragon 2 focuses on exploitation of ESA, TPM
and Chinese EO data for science and applications development in land,
ocean and atmospheric applications.
The Programme brings together joint
Sino-European teams to investigate 25 thematic projects.
Key Events
ESA and NRSCC / MOST announce the opening of the Dragon 3 call for proposals. The call will close on 10 December 2011 and is dedicated to research and application development projects.
